Trellis Support for the Beans
The wigwam, or as some have called it the pyramid trellis, has created a safe and secure structure for the 5 bean plants. They formed a tent of bean stalks. Actually offering ease of finding and picking the mature bounty of Kentucky Wonder and Blue Lake beans.

Karen,
I think your trellises are wonderful. Did you make them yourself? I would like to try to make some like this for next year.
Yes, Leah I made them myself. I got the template out of the book,” Build It Better Yourself” which I bought in 1979 and has been very useful since then for a variety of projects. I did make some revisions on the sizing height for the various containers of different sizes for the tomato, bean and melon tubs. If you would like I can send to you the dimensions and types of materials that I used. I did a brief run down on cost per trellis and they have come to $3.75 per trellis. I liked the sturdy design and easy access to the vegetables. I appreciate your checking out the website.
